Beginners guide to Stand Up Paddleboard
Stand Up Paddle Boarding or SUP is a cross between surfing and kayaking, the boards are longer and wider than normal surf boards and the paddles have single blades. It's best practiced in reasonably calm seas and especially when there's not a strong offshore wind. They are awesome for surfing with as they can catch almost any wave. It takes a little while to get used to but surprisingly quickly you'll find yourself easily standing up and feeling relatively stable.
