Stunning walk around Llansteffan Castle, Carmarthenshire
Lansteffan is the start and the finish of one of the most stunning walks I’ve done in South Wales. Park your car ext to the river and then walk along the beach (if the tides out!) to Scott’s Bay, then head up over the headland for breath taking views towards the Gower and Pembrey Sands. Then follow it around into the National Trust area of the headland before heading back on yourself back to Scott’s Bay and St Anthony’s Well. Look out for Buzzards on the way and a huge bull in one of the fields!
Finally walk up the hill to the Castle for more brilliant views North to Carmarthen and over the estuary mouth of the river Taf. End the walk back in Llansteffan village with cream tea or some fish and chips!
