Hello,

My name is Richard and I'm a Powerboat Instructor in West Wales with experience in a few other areas..

I moved from the hustle and bustle of Surrey a few years ago and have never left.

Why would I want to? With all this climbing, surfing, coasteering and watersports available on my doorstep, the Thames and Basingstoke Canal just doesn't cut it after that.

I have completed my training for 3* awards in Canoe and Sea-Kayak, Powerboat Instructor's including Safety Boat and Day Skipper.

I have taken my S.P.A training and am now just building up my logbook to take my assessment, I also enjoy coasteering and map skills

I would love to do some more whitewater work in a Canoe and also to start going out in a Kayak more often to get up some more experience. I've paddled some grade 2/3 rivers in a Canoe and thoroughly enjoyed myself and would like more of it.

I would like to get into caving and and also archery. I have done both a number of times and would love to hear from others with more experience than I.
